2010 USTA SC Junior Tentative Final Rankings

The 2010 SC Tentative Junior Rankings were posted January 5th.  The ranking requirements have changed from 2009, so please keep in mind the below items were used to calculate the players' rankings.  To obtain a South Carolina Ranking, a player must earn a minimum of 50 SC ranking points and meet the following requirements within the calendar year (January 1-December 31, 2010) in singles play for the age division being ranked:

1) Four South Carolina tournaments of any level.

2) One National Closed Championship (not including National Opens), One South Carolina State Championship (listed below), and One other SC tournament of any level.

3) Two SC State Championships and One other South Carolina tournament of any level.

When final rankings are calculated at the end of the year, only the player's best six tournament results in singles and doubles will be considered from the current calendar year. Players can be ranked in more than one age division as long as they have met the ranking requirements for each division.

If you come across any information that is incorrect or you have any questions about a specific player, please e-mail Jessica Amick ( with the player's name, age division, and tournament in question no later than January 14, 2011.  On January 15, 2011 the rankings will be finalized.
