Coordinator of Public Relations and Sales/Sponsorships Job Opening

US Tennis Association South Carolina (USTA SC), headquartered in Columbia, SC is hiring a full-time Coordinator of Public Relations and Sales/Sponsorships to:
  • Build and support a SC tennis news network with key people in newspapers, TV, radio etc. to disseminate news and feature stories to the media on frequent and regular basis
  • Communicate with USTA SC members with opportunities and promotions
  • Generate and service ad sales and sponsorships
  • Promote USTA Leagues and tournaments through print media, marketing strategies and website content
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • Work from our Columbia, SC office
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to create engaging content, non-profit background, practical knowledge and work with volunteers, familiarity with tennis

USTA SC was established in the 1970’s and currently serves almost 24,000 USTA members in SC through its support of local tennis programs and events for all ages and ability levels. USTA SC is an independently incorporated affiliate to the USTA Southern Section, a regional association of nine southern state tennis associations, which itself is an independently incorporated affiliate to the USTA.
