Ranking Philosophy
The philosophy of the Adult Competition Council has been established as follows. The adult ranking process in South Carolina is designed to recognize the accomplishments and/or participation of South Carolina residents in sanctioned tournaments within the state during the calendar year.
Important Internet Information: All tournament schedules (including National, Southern and SC), current standing and ranking information, online registration for tournaments and much more can be accessed directly at http://tournaments.usta.com. You can also access the same information by going to www.usta.com, click on “tournaments” on the left side of the screen and follow the links to tournament searches, rankings and much more. 2. Matches using conventional scoring (which may include the use of tiebreak and No-Ad scoring system) or a third set tiebreak in lieu of a third set will be considered for rankings. Pro sets are excluded.
3. Only those matches played in a given age category or against another player eligible in the same category in the current ranking year will be considered.

Player Responsibilities

Errors should be reported to Rebecca McPhee (mcphee@southerntennis.com) immediately.
PENALTY: Any player who claims to meet these requirements under false pretenses shall not be ranked in the state of South Carolina for a period of three years from the date of discovery; further, that player will not be allowed to enter a State Closed tournament in South Carolina for the same period.
