USTA Grant Opportunities

St. George Court Construction
The St. George Youth Sports League was awarded a USTA Public Facility Assistance grant in the amount of $47,095 on Friday, March 30th. The grant supports the expansion of a building with restrooms, the construction of a new 78’ court and four 36’ dedicated courts, in addition to their existing two 78’ courts. The building construction has already begun. You can view pictures of the progress on the St. George Youth Sports League website.

Facility upgrades and renovations are active throughout South Carolina. These facilities have all received 10 and Under Line Grants this calendar year:
  • Hamlin Plantation – 5 x 60’ and 10 x 36’ courts
  • Riverside Tennis Club - 3 x 60’ courts
  • Snee Farm Country Club – 4 x 60’ and 4 x 36’ courts
  • SportsClub of Greenville – 4 x 60’ and 4 x 36’ courts
  • Westside Club – 2 x 60’ courts
The Columbia Tennis Center is undergoing a major renovation, completely rebuilding the facility. Their 14 hard courts were demolished and 9 new hard courts are being built with an additional 5 Har-Tru soft courts.

If you have tennis courts and 10U lines, perhaps a grant for programs is more to your liking – give these a try.

Local Marketing Grant – provides funding to more effectively market/promote your program or advance your long-term goals.
