The Paladin’s were able to maintain their strong recruiting in South Carolina as they were able to land 5-star recruit and No. 2 player in the state, Adam Steryous, to an already strong lineup. The team will be looking to improve from last year’s 9-14 season, which ended when they were swept in the Southern Conference Tournament by eventual champion Elon.

Furman returns ten players from last season, including Matt Browne, who earned Southern Conference All-Freshman team honors.

On the women’s side, the recruiting trail for the Paladins didn’t disappoint either. Like the men, they were able to land 5-star recruit and No. 2 player in the state, Ansley Speaks. The Paladins hope to build from a successful 14-9 season last year, which included an 8-2 record in conference play.

Alex Moreno-Kaste, Kelly Sullivan, Katherine Oudin and Margaret Boyette will all be returning after being named to the All-Southern Conference team last season.
