The Lexington County Tennis Complex was named "Municipal Facility of the Year" and Julie Jilly of the Professional Tennis Registry was honored as "Wheelchair Tennis Champion of the Year" by Racquet Sports Industry magazine.  The 21-court facility and its director Jorge Andrew were cited in RSI's current issue for developing programs "for every area of the tennis world"--from the 2003 and '04 USA League Southern Section Championships to after-school instruction for beginner youngsters.  Jillly, who is PTR vice president for operations, is tournament director of the annual PTR/ROHO $15,000 Wheelchair Championships, held each September at Van der Meer Shipyard Racquet Club, Hilton Head Island. She was cited for developing wheelchair coaches and instruction and combatting misconceptions about wheelchair tennis athletes.   In another award, former Hilton Head Island pro Marc Blouin was among those cited at Indian Creek Racquet Club, Overland Park KS for the "Private Facility of the Year" award.
