3 SC Tennis Resorts in Top 5 Of "World's Best" Destinations

With Wild Dunes at #2, Kiawah Island #4 and Palmetto Dunes (Hilton Head Island) #5, South Carolina dominates the Top 5 in the 2005 "World's Best Tennis Resorts" by Tennis Resorts Online.  The annual ranking is compiled from surveys of tennis vacationers.
Joining the three SC resorts in the Top 10 are two from Florida and one each from California (#1 Rancho Valencia Resort), Arizona, Virginia, Colorado and Hawaii. TRO ranks the Top 75 resorts.

Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island is ranked #16. Those 26 through 50 are listed alphabetically and include Daufuskie Island Resort, Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort and two more from Hilton Head Island: Port Royal Racquet Club and Shipyard Plantation. South Beach Racquet Club of Hilton Head Island is in the 51-75 alphabetical ranking, In rankings of Top 25 Tennis Camps, Stan Smith Tennis Academy of Sea Pines is #15 and Van der Meer Tennis of Shipyard Plantation is #17.
