2.0 Level USTA Leagues Will Play in 2006

December 9, 2005 03:18 AM

Wanted: Players who don't compete in USTA league tennis ... to play USTA league tennis.

With popularity at the 2.5 level growing in South Carolina, a 2006 campaign will add 2.0 competition from among those who have not played league tennis.

The team format will be one singles and two doubles, according to Mary Goins, USTA SC state league coordinator. "Players must be 19 years of age and not have played any organized tennis ever and can not have played league tennis," she said.

Interested players and volunteer team captains should contact their local league coordinators or email Goins at mggoins@charter.net.
