Inaugural Southern Sibling Open Dominated by SC Players

The first ever Sibling Southern Open was held at Kiawah Island September 14-16. The winners of the Brother/Brother Open Doubles were Phillip and Brian Burke from Charleston, the finalists were Brian and Armand Glassman from Atlanta and Columbia, SC. The Brother/Brother Junior division winners were Walker and randal Heffron of Charleston and finalists were Payne and Connor Hoy of Charleston. The winners of the Brother/Sister Open Doubles were Ray Jones of Charlotte, NC and his sister Maryse Hotchkiss of Jacksonville, Florida, finalists were Jake and Kelly Engle of Charleston. The winners of the Brother/Sister junior division were Courtney and Hunter Mitchell of Charleston and finalists were Jake and Kelly Engle of Charleston. This new format is designed to help siblings of all ages come together through tennis.
