Jack Sock tells Lleyton Hewitt to challenge the call. Sportsmanship.

January 6, 2016 12:29 PM

From The Sydney Morning Herald:

Serving to stay in the first set, trailing 4-5, Lleyton Hewitt's first serve at 30-0 was called out by the chair umpire.

But as the Aussie returned to the baseline, content to take his second serve, Jack Sock encouraged him to challenge the call.

Much to the surprise of everyone inside Perth Arena, Sock was quick to yell out "that was in if you want to challenge it."

(He later shouted, "Challenge it!")

But the biggest cheer was still to come as Hawk Eye confirmed the ball had indeed caught the line and the point was given to the Aussie.
