Directors and Officers/Employment Practices Liability Coverage

For Qualified USTA Community Tennis Associations and

National Junior Tennis League Chapters and Programs.

The USTA is pleased to announce that arrangements have been made with an “A” rated insurance carrier for the purchase of Directors and Officers/Employment Practices Liability insurance by qualified USTA Member Organizations.


COVERAGE: Tailored “non-profit” D&O/EPL coverage insuring against claims arising from the negligent acts, errors, or omissions, including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, or other employment related exposures alleged to have been committed by an “insured person” or “organization”.

WHO IS INSURED: The organization, current and former directors, officers, trustees, employees, volunteers, and committee members.

LIMIT OF INSURANCE: $1,000,000 each loss and in the aggregate.


PREMIUM: Will be calculated based on employee count (excluding volunteers):

0 – 2 - $500

2 – 5 - $750

Over 5 employees to be submitted for underwriting approval.

ADMINISTRATION: It is anticipated that the program will have a common effective date of 12/31/06. However, we expect that applications will be accepted for an earlier effective date beginning on or about October 1, 2006. Coverage will be through December of 2007.
