Jessica Amick began working at the USTA in March 2009 in the newly established Competition Assistant position. Her passion for athletics lead her to pursue a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management at the University of South Carolina, and she graduated in December 2008. During her collegiate career, she had several internship experiences throughout South Carolina, including the Family Circle Cup and the South Carolina Athletics Department. Jessica discovered her affinity for working in tennis while interning at the Family Circle Cup in the sales and sponsorship department, which was a deciding factor in applying for this position with the USTA.

As the Competition Assistant, she is responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of tournament fees, tournament match play statistics, and assists Scottie Rabb, Manager of Competition and Training, with department projects as needed. She will be working with numerous committees.
