Pamela (Pam) Pearce, wife and mother of three, was elected to the Board of Directors in December of 2007 as Treasurer.  Pamela has a broad spectrum of experience as it relates to Financial Management.  She initially began her career as an intern for McCain Financial Group where she was responsible for bookkeeping and other accounting functions.  Since then, her employment responsibilities have ranged from being the Vice President, Commercial loan officer, responsible for a loan portfolio of $48 million for the world renowned Banking Corporation, Bank of America, to overseeing daily operations for a privately held company in Charleston whose products were sold both nationally and internationally as the Chief Financial Officer.

Pamela’s volunteer opportunities are phenomenal and truly show her love and compassion for the sport of tennis.  In August 2006, she was asked by the Governor and First Lady of South Carolina to be the Finale Coordinator for the National Governor’s Association.  This Annual Conference was for 1,500 people to include all Governors from the United States and their spouses, large corporate Presidents and spouses and invited statewide dignitaries.  For four years Pamela worked with the Family Circle Magazine Cup as Co-Chair Department Head of Ushers for tournaments.  She assisted in staffing and coordinating 130 volunteers working six to 10 eight hour shifts each over the nine days of the tournament.  Pamela’s other volunteer opportunities include being the Chairman of the Annual Gala and auction for The Porter-Gaud School in Charleston, which raised over $100,000, the largest monies raised to date.  She was also one of the founding board members of the Children’s Museum of the Lowcountry, where she served as treasurer and a member of the finance committee.

Pamela earned a Bachelor of Arts from Mary Baldwin College where her emphasis was in Marketing and Finance.  She also has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina where her emphasis was Marketing and Finance.

Pamela and her husband are remarkable tennis players.  They have both competed at 4.5 level and higher for the past 20 years.  Pamela’s three children have all competed in the state, zonals and/or section competition.

In her free time, Pamela likes to snow ski, volunteer through the Junior League and other Board activities and Bible Studies.
