USA Team Tennis (Youth) is a 6-8 week program of team practice and match play for boys and girls, ages 6 to 18, who want to play tennis on teams. The program uses formats that are easy to administer and that accommodate all skill levels. USA Team Tennis is offered by the USTA in cooperation with WORLD TEAMTENNIS.

Teams are organized using the Junior National Tennis Rating Program (JNTRP) to match players of similar age and ability. These teams then compete against other teams from the same geographic region in one of three league divisions: Red, White, or Blue.

The JNTRP categories provide coaches with a simple placement method for grouping individuals of similar skill in USA Team Tennis.

Division JNTRP level Age Range
Red 1.0 - 2.5 6 - 12
White Stars 2.5 - 3.0 10 - 14
White Stripes 3.5 - 5.0 10 - 14

Blue Stripes 3.5 - 5.0 13 - 18
