What is your favorite part about tennis?
My favorite part about tennis is the competition and the feeling of accomplishment after I win a match.
What do you always keep in your tennis bag?
"I always keep my iPod in my tennis bag."
What is your favorite SC Junior Tournament to play in?
I like South Carolina Hardcourts because it is in Columbia and I have always done well there.
What is your favorite tennis tournament
My favorite tournament to watch is the US Open because we usually go up for a couple days to watch in person.
What has been your biggest challenge so far?
My biggest challenge has been a stress fracture in my lower back which prevented me from playing for most of my junior year.
What is your most memorable moment?
My most memorable moment was winning Belton doubles. I have always wanted to see my name on the board and finally seeing it felt like a huge accomplishment.
Who or what has been your biggest inspiration?
My biggest inspiration has definitely been my parents. They were the ones who got me into tennis and keep me inspired even after eleven years of playing.
Do you have any thoughts on playing tennis in college?
I do want to play college tennis. My number one choice is the University of South Carolina but I am also interested in other schools in South Carolina.
What advice would you give to a younger player that you have gathered from your experiences?
I would say do not worry so much about the wins and losses but rather concentrate on getting better every time you go out onto the court.
