Thinking about trying a USTA South Carolina adult sanctioned tournament?

The 2017 South Carolina adult tournament schedule has been released and most tournaments are now open for registration. You will find a wide variety of levels in our schedule. This year we are featuring more one day tournaments, where the competition is great but you only have to commit to one day!

Lyn Hibino, a frequent league and tournament player in the Columbia area says, “I play adult tournaments for many reasons! The competition is great, I get to meet new people and overall I become a better player.”

Whether you are looking for new people to play against, looking for a new club to play at, or want to be state/southern ranked, tournaments are the right choice for you! Tournaments offer an easy way to find organized play and are a great tune-up for a league season.

Hibino continued, “Tournaments are a great way to try out different facilities around the state. I love playing at Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center and will always try to play in their tournaments!”

USTA South Carolina is excited to announce the first tournament reimbursement which will allow new players to receive a refund of their entry fee (up to $35). We are also offering it to anyone who has not played a tournament since 2012 and wants to try one out in 2017.

Are you already a frequent tournament player? You’re in luck as well! USTA South Carolina will refund up to $35 of your tournament entry fee after playing your fifth adult sanctioned tournament in 2017.
