South Carolina player wins court time with Maria Sharapova

Phoenix, AZ – November 2, 2011 – HEAD announced the winners of the "Use Your Instinct to Play with Maria Sharapova" essay contest today. The Grand Prize winner is 15 year old, Nadia Hilton-Adams from Greenville, South Carolina. Her essay was chosen among over 750 entrants from across the United States. The Grand Prize includes a hitting session with Maria Sharapova and two friends along with three YouTek IG Instinct Racquets, three HEAD tennis bags, three pairs of HEAD shoes, HEAD shirts and a 15 minute autograph session at her tennis club, The Preserve at Verdae.
 
Nadia is the #1 varsity player at Southside High School in South Carolina and was the region MVP for the 2010-2011 tennis season. She is also currently ranked in the top 50 of the Girls’ 16 age group by the USTA South Carolina junior ranking system.
 
Nadia is looking forward to meeting Maria Sharapova and sharing the experience with her two friends, Katie Loudermilk-Anderson (SC) and Brantley Belk (NC) early this spring. The Grand Prize is sponsored by HEAD and will be filmed and featured on Tennis Channel.
 
The "Use Your Instinct to Play with Maria Sharapova" Essay contest was open to all US residents who were asked to write an essay in 250 words or less about why Maria Sharapova should visit their tennis club. HEAD awarded one grand prize winner, five first place winners an autographed YouTek IG Instinct, five second place winners an autographed Maria Sharapova Tennis Racquet Bag – Combi and ten third place winners an autographed HEAD tennis hat.
