SC Tennis Patron Foundation

The SC Tennis Patrons Foundation (SCTPF) is a non-profit, charitable foundation whose primary goal is to stimulate interest in amateur tennis and good sportsmanship in schools, playgrounds, public parks and other public facilities in South Carolina

It provides encouragement and instruction to players of all ages and abilities (including those with disabilities). It benefits the general public by promoting an appreciation and enjoyment of the sport of tennis and its history and it encourages the development of young athletes to reach the limits of their individual capability.

To facilitate accomplishing these aims the Foundation provides financial grants to kids-at-risk programs, college scholarships, grants for public tennis facility maintenance and financial support to junior tennis players.

The Foundation recognizes certain outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the sport of tennis in SC by naming them to the SC Tennis Hall of Fame. It maintains and operates a SC Tennis Hall of Fame Museum in Belton, SC.

The operations of the SCTPF are funded through charitable contributions from both individuals and corporations and through financing from USTA South Carolina.
